The assessment is designed to improve the quality of a conversation. It does not certify that an AI system is safe, compliant, secure, ethical, economically sound, or ready to scale.
What the assessment does
It organizes self-reported answers across Value, Authority, Context, Economics, Evidence, and Judgment. It highlights patterns, gaps, dependencies, and questions that may deserve attention before the next investment or operating decision.
What the score means
The percentage reflects how much the respondent says is currently clear or tested across 24 questions. It is not an industry benchmark, probability of success, risk rating, audit result, or maturity certification. A high average can conceal one consequential weakness.
What the report does not do
- It does not inspect systems, data, contracts, controls, code, architecture, or financial records.
- It does not independently verify the answers.
- It does not recommend a vendor, model, platform, or implementation partner.
- It does not authorize deployment or replace legal, security, compliance, finance, procurement, human-resources, or technical review.
- It does not guarantee business outcomes, safety, adoption, savings, or regulatory compliance.
Research editorial policy
Recommended reading is selected for relevance to the assessment pattern, source quality, usefulness, and accessibility. Public institutions and independent research are prioritized. Provider research may be included when it offers valuable empirical evidence or technical depth, but it is identified as provider research and should be examined for methods, scope, incentives, and limitations.
Research pathways include a “current as of” date because AI evidence, policies, and links change quickly. Inclusion does not imply endorsement, and omission does not imply a source lacks value.
Responsible use
Use the report as a structured starting point. Bring its questions to the people who own the business outcome, systems, data, security, economics, workforce implications, and final decision. Preserve room for disagreement, appeal, and professional judgment.
